01 - In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth with slight texture.
02 - Spread one side of each bread slice with a thin layer of softened butter.
03 - Flip two bread slices over and evenly spread the mashed avocado on the unbuttered sides.
